whats with this unit? i heard it was supposedly a super-unit, even though it only shows it having 2 attack and 5 defense or s/t but i heard stories of them ripping through the most elite units, and now im afraid to attack this one rebel city which has a unit of them. how do i counter them?

Install the fix in Boiv's sig, or use lots of missile troops before they can close with your lines.

They aren't as they seem, don't worry. This has been discussed elsewhere on the forum, but the EB team needed to create a unit that could be spawned for rebellions. I haven't fought them yet, but I believe someone said that they weren't any harder than the Vanilla "peasants." You might want to search the forum to find out for sure (Or bring a lot of skirmishers; they don't seem to be wearing any armor).

If it's just the EDU, certainly. Although it's pretty easy to edit the fibbed 0.9 lethality to something more appropriate (like 0.04) yourself for that matter.
