    Arrow Music for Chilling Out

Inspired by Adrian's thread, obviously. When I'm driving, I like mellow music. Keeps me from getting all aggro'd by the bad drivers.

Let's put forward some examples of good chilled-out driving songs. I can always use some more! Here's some of my standards for driving:

American Analog Set, Hard to Find
    Folk Implosion, Natural One
    Morcheeba, Trigger Hippie

    That's a starter set ...

For me.. it would be Led Zepplin(What Is And Should Never Be), ZZ Top(Sharp Dressed Man), The Eagles(Life in the Fast Lane), AC/DC(Highway to Hell )

Just to name a few bands and songs.

All us men suffer in equal parts, it's our lot in life, and no man goes without a broken heart or a lost love. Like holding your dog as he takes his last breath and dies in your arms, it's a rite of passage. Unavoidable. And honestly, I can't imagine life without that depth of feeling.-Bierut

Well, I usually prefer more up tempo stuff for driving, but then I think I like getting aggro on the road.

Here's a few you might go for:
    Boyz in the Hood

    6 Underground

When 'chilling' 'out', suitable ones on my iPod right now (which is hooked up to my speakers) are Boards of Canada, Nick Drake, David Byrne (Young Adam cd), Eels (Blinking Lights), Boduf Songs, Sigur Ros, Bonnie Prince Billy, Nico, The Notwist, Quiet Sun, Maps, Les Négresses Verts.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Pink Floyd. You cant talk about mellowing out without mentioning the Floyd.

I love the Bee Gee's, Eagles (Hotel California), ABBA among some. It sends me to sleep, and its good when travelling to work on a busy day.

Dummy is a great album. Here's a live track from it.

Can't talk about chilling music without mentioning Massive Attack as well. Their song Angel always slays me. When that guitar comes in out of nowhere ... man. Teardrop is an amazing song as well.

By chilling out, I assume keeping calm?

    Have you just been dumped?

I ask because it's usually something like that which causes outbursts like this, needless to say I dissagree completely.

My brother is a big fan of his. And yeah, his Over the Rainbow/Wonderful World mashup is one for the ages.
