    You suck at New Year. Either that or the council runs about 7 minutes behind the rest of the world.

    I went to the official big party thing, when midnight struck i could hear cheering and music from the bars and buildings nearby, meanwhile the Mayor was still rambling away about it nearly being time.

    7 minutes later the fireworks finally started, which were okay. Now i'm back home enjoying the novelty of being 'in the future' with my friends on MSN (they're still in 2007).

    There is a reason South Australia produces 40%+ of the wine... its to help erase the pain.

    One thing Sydney can do is New Years Eve... the rest of the year is cleaning up the mess.
