There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

I do however gladly watch Swedish police brutally charge down people acting against a democratic society. There are few big NO-NOs to respect in a democracy, and the right to hold political meetings uninterrupted by terrorists or other political fanatics is one of them.
So by all means, sure, I am glad the police took the gloves off. I am also glad that no on died because of it. And I hope it gave some people some second thoughts about how to properly behave in a democratic society.
