I have them on my game and I don't even notice most of the time that they're naked. And if I happen (or want) to look at one of their virtual penises, I don't get bugged by it. I'm just pointing out that it is ridiculous how in the 21st century people are still disturbed by body-parts.

And no. I'm not implying you're gay (let's just say it, it's a ridiculous taboo as well), nor would there be a problem if you were (or are). If you were and had the same reaction towards these units, I'd be saying exactly the same thing.

I'm alright with the nudity myself, it's just that my parents don't have the same feeling.

Yes, also i am having nightmares due the fact I can see pixel guys killing each other in the battlefield. It is sad that historically correct mod for game need to have violence and sexism in it. Give my EB guys boffers and make them wear happier colors, such as pink, blue and yellow.



PS. Also, if you can make bodies lying on the ground yell stuff such as... "that was a good fight, tomorrow again, would you like to have some tea, etc", it would not break my immersion that they are alive.

Sweet lord, it was already clarified that the problem is not with the player, rather with his parents. If you're under 18, living under your parents' roof and they walk in and your playing a game where a bunch of dudes are running around naked killing eachother, it puts you in an awkward place. Now, if you have parents that don't mind or you don't think they should, that's one thing, but the reality of the matter is that a lot do and so the guy is trying to remedy that.

I haven't seen anyone asking to remove the violent stuff, so those comments are directed into the air. I want to cover them exactly because I love my own, if there's anything I can't imagine, it's getting my own chopped off, and I can't avoid seeking cover to mine when I watch those guys go into battle, because, depenification ( ) is something I don't want wandering around my head, exactly because I am too fond of my own.

The best thing about EB is the historical accuracy, but if I change a model or replace a texture, I won't get shouted at, why dick, I mean, pick over this? It's such a SMALL issue anyway.

Yes, this is exactly the best possible issue to try and use some political capital with his parents. Even if he chose to fight and win this argument, please explain to me how the benfits of being allowed to look at naked men on the computer "as long as it isn't porn" outweighs the negative of trying to explain to your father that you want to be able to see large numbers of simulated naked men, "because they really fought like that. I promise."

My mum and dad are fine with violence in games. Well, that's what happened in real life. but my mum would feel uncomfortable (IN a very bad way) and that is not what I want. I hate political correctness too. It's just not worth the hassle explaining to my mum and dad that that's how they thought.

No one will be forced to use it, so why do you feel the need to incessently question why anyone would? Who cares? Some people would prefer that, and they'll have the option. If you choose to look at this simplisticly, then do so. There's the bigger of issue of respecting their son's opinion, and to stay out of things that don't really concern them.

As I said education (not just academical, but the process of becoming a man with it's own opinions, which should be respected) goes both ways.
