I now know how to use Muribitin javelin infantry!
I use them in the second line of infantry usually on the flanks. Once the front lines have charged into a mass. I have the Muribitins on "hold" command, then move them towards the toughest enemy armored unit and let them hurl their javelins. I have seen as many as nine Feudal sergeants go down with each volley. The javelins are very good against armored targets. Once they run out of javelins, I use their high run speed to charge into any enemy flank I can find on engage at will. While my main line units are getting 1 to 1 kills, I am seeing my Muribitins with kill ratios up to 2 to 1.
I no longer use them as frontline skirmishers. They are too short ranged to deal with archers and light cavalry will eat them alive. They belong in the second infantry line.
Try them out, they are good troops.
I am going to have to retry Jinettes now.
