It is not out yet (here in Oz) but the reviews put it as the best next-gen FPS, dubbed the Crysis of consoles. Just asking if anyone else has actually played it and give a few hints of what is to come. Also general opinions and comments.

I own it and it's not the next best shooter, the graphics aren't even mind-blowing at all for the current console generation. The game is built from the ground-up for co-op play. If you have a human partner to play with, than it's pretty darn satisfying. If you are alone, the friendly AI is pretty decent, but you can't control him with quite the degree of exactitude I would like. If you loved Gear of War co-op, this is certainly a worthy successor to get you gaming until GoW2. I have played a couple of hours and am having a blast.

This is a great summary of Army of Two...

As said, it's by no means the best or even 2nd best shooter on the consoles, and it can't even be compared to Crysis, but it's still one of the "better" shooters on consoles. As Lehesu said- If you have a friend to play co-op with, you have more incentive to buy the game. It was specifically tailored to such play.

Overall though, don't expect anything awe inspiring...
