Trade Tips

Can any one make some suggestions on how to increase trade? I am open to any suggestions, including "the basics". I tend to be pretty agressive and military oriented, using ships to allow for quick movement of troops, rather than building trade. I want to explore the other side. Thanks!

do a search for "trade" use the search in "subject only" criterea. the results should answer your question.
