View Full Version : Good Acoustic Music
I'm having a little trouble trying to find some decent acoustic music. The stuff I listen to now is kinda what I'm looking for. I listen to a lot of dashboard confessional, slightly stoopid, acoustic sublime and then a few random singles by bands that dont usually play acoustic stuff. Like the songs hey there delilah and face down (the acoustic version). I'm just looking for something I can relax to.
P.S. No Acoustic Alchemy (sorry alchemy fans).

not familiar with any of the bands you mentioned, sorry (i've heard of them, but never heard them).
how 'acoustic' are you needing? the only bands i listen to regularly that tend to be acousticy are iron & wine (often acousticy), built to spill (sometimes), elliott smith (often), gorky's zygotic mynci (sometimes), josé gonzález (often), nick drake (almost always).
i don't know if any of that is your kind of music, though.
edit: oops, left out kings of convenience (almost always acouticy).

Robert Johnson, Son House, Lightnin' Hopkins, Muddy Waters... once you go Blues, you never go back.
I love Muddy Waters! (Actually, I probably really like quite a few blues musicians, but I'm really bad at catching/remembering the names of musical artists. :sweatdrop: ) I'm not as big a blues fan as I am a jazz fan, but it's still highly enjoyable. :2thumbsup:
