While some of the terminology (death camps) are suspect, it does reveal the lengths that China has gone to, trying to 'Westernize' and 'clean up' Beijing. The city's ability to hide worker deaths, round up cats, and carry on in Sudan without flinching is sad.

1) This is the Daily Mail we're talking about here. Their idea of the news is to take something and blow it way out of proportion, especially when it involves 'those bloody foreigners and slant eyes'.
2) I'm sure i've seen that first picture somewhere else, long before these 'death camps' started up.

Some people need to wake up and join reality. Stray cats are often hunted down and killed. The larger the amount needed to kill, the worse it will look. How you could ever kill off a population of half a million stray cats effectively without it looking like a death camp is something I can't even imagine.

Some people need to realize that reality is harsh.
