stuck with vanilla.. help

im stuck with my vanilla m2tw, im no comp-no-how, can anyone please tell me where can i find those version 1.2 or 1.3 or 3.1 something, tried to go to the official site can find it there, i read some post but all they say is that they installed already... no links.. cant have my kingdoms running cause i cant with all that SecuRom thing... y? well as i have said on a thread, i'm working here in nigeria and my brother(from the Philippines..) had sent me the kingdoms only to find out that after installing it for 2hrs i cnt play it, 'cuz of that SecRom thing:furious3: , dont have the ways to out do it, im guessing my copy is a fake one, i cant get my brother to buy me a good one 'cuz that would cost 3x more than the copy including the vanilla m2tw, all for an xpansion???:idea2: :no:
so what i plan is to download and install the v1.2 or 1.3 they are talking about and then maybe i can download a MOD, maybe broken cresent or ss... so please please anyone :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help:
i still want to play the total war series, i mean i played shogun to mtw to rome.... and now i cant play kingdoms all because of that SecRom:furious3: :furious3: :furious3: :wall: :wall: ......

and one more thing, if ever i have made it installing the v1.2 or 3.1(damn i dont what the hell they are talking about... no really, i have my vaio laptop all for my games :laugh4: , but dont know how to mod or install them on my comp).... do i need another password or pass to securom or maybe another crack:oops: sorry... im here in negeria and men you cant believe this place there seems to be no one selling here a non-pirated cd's all of them are fake:whip:


wel that's it.... for 3years or more(i think..) this is my first post since i started playing shogun and member in this community, helps a lot being here and a good one too with all those laugh i have on threads:beam: :yes: now i guess with this SecRom.... GUYS... i need help, think of it as : im a commander the field stuck in a deffensive position with no retreat possible, have my calvalry on both flanks,2stak each.. my pike infantry at the middle, my heavy infantry on flanks... archers on far front deploying stakes and then pulling back after..... I CAN HOLD THEM OF(SecRom/Boredom)... But i dont know how long!!! need reinforcement fellow generals and i need it fast!!!!!

Go to www.totalwar.com and there will be a support link in a column to the left. Click it and below a few more specific links should pop up, including a support - Medieval II. That has both patches. Make sure to get 1.2 first, then 1.3. :yes: Unfortunately, they're both large files and take a long time to download even with a good connection.

Alternatively if you get a good copy of Kingdoms it will have the patches on it. They all have securom, though. :no:

thank you very much...:2thumbsup: i've checked it and i found it, not yet downloaded though... anyway if i finished downloading those patches do i need password or something again? or would it run my m2tw right away after installing? any issues here guys..... anyone?:help::book:

Don't install patch 1.3. You only need 1.2 to pay Vanilla. Patch 1.3 makes Vanilla compatible in MP with Kingdoms AND installs Securom. If I remember correctly you had issues with Securom.

There is a whole thread here devoted to Securom and Kingdoms and how it doesn't uninstall itself and there is no sure uninstall procedure unless you want to learn more about your computre than I think you want to. Also, contact Sega's supprort people at www.sega.com for help. It's thier game.

thank you anyway for your time...guess ill just be playing with my vanilla..... but i shall return !!!! for in just 5 or 6 mos ill be going home philippines, and the 1st thing ill buy in the airport/dutyfree/mall or wherever it is, is TOTAL WAR!!!! and definitely youll hear more 'bout me....:laugh4: :laugh4:

Were Empire to be released today it would be several months before a patch would make it playable, right? Anyway, everyone will scream that the British infantry is game-breakingly overpowered and the Flemish accent is off - oh yeah, and the sappers really didn't wear suspenders or have full beards.
