Hi all!

How has anyone tried to make a version of EB without scripts? I mean A simpler game like RS or RTR, but with all the cool sounds/units/buildings/etc that EB has.

only if you want to repeat the DF AI of vanilla:laugh4: plus CTD's may occur..I dont know...

Asking for EB without scripts is like asking for a PB and jelly sandwich without the jelly,or a pie without the crust, they just don't go well when separate.

Well, the battle AI would be the same, and probably less CTDs since they're usually caused by scripts ;)

It simply isn't EB without the script; its vanilla with new skins and buildings (that might end up doing nothing) and a completely crippled strategic map AI. Gameplay wise you are heaps better off just playing vanilla.

I was refering to strat AI-makes no sense......

Not true. There is no memory management in script. There are only few commands that can CTD RTW, and this is result of buggy implementation of this commands by CA.
If you make mistake in script then this script just wont work ( except for few buggy commands ).
