fog of war

Hi Guys,

I'm playing MTW Gold and wondered how to disable the 'fog of war' to enable me to see what's going on all over the map.

In RTW you could toggle fow with a console command or via the preferences file. But I can't find how to do this in MTW2 - is it possible? Any advice welcome. Many thanks!

Yes, same way.
Open the shell console and type toggle_fow

Thanks for this. But I can't seem to find the correct key to open the console. In RTW I used the ` key but it doesn't work for me in MTW. Is the console accessed by a different key? Or do you have to make it accessible via the preferences file? Many thanks!

Depends on your keyboard.
Its either one of the buttons above your TAB key or one of those in the cluster to the left of your ENTER key.
