Quick question, country of birth, where I lived most of my life or where I am now?

I'm English, but I've been in Australia for 3 and a half years (Perth) and have no plans to move back (although I'm going back for a holiday at the end of the year... expensive!!!).

Just want to know so I don't stuff your poll up. :beam:

Well, mostly due to the fact that this is an English language forum. The game is available in several languages... I've got the German version and I must say the translators did a really good job.

I'm from the US, born in MI (Michigan). We get cold winters, hot summers, nice springs, and calm falls...all 4 seasons and the best/worst of them. We have the Great Lakes, and one of them named Lake Michigan.

But other then that, for all those who think MI is country, its actually a mix of New York-ish features with a little Wisconsin thrown in...but definatley more urbanized (cities more like Chicago).

Turkey is a bit of dilemma. I’m not actually sure where to put it. Their history is complicated, got a lot of connection with the Balkan states and the rest of Europe. I guess the player gets the choice then.

Well if you're talking about TW players in general (and not just those that play Rome), then we've got a number of folks from the Middle East.

Mouza and LeftEyeNine are both from Turkey (I think Sinan is originally from there as well, although I believe he lives in England now?). Leet Eriksson hails from the United Arab Emirates, X-Danger is Jordanian, and Dariush lives in Iran. And of course we've got Fahad I here, although I don't know which country he actually lives in. ~:) We have other members from the Middle East as well, but those are the ones that I can think of off the top of my head.

I myself hail from Minneapolis, MN (USA), by the way. :beam:

Liverpool comes second. I was glad when they knocked out Inter. :ave: Not too happy when Arsenal done it to us though. :rtwno: Hope they go out against the mighty Reds.

It seems that Australia which is larger than the USA & 7 Great Britains, has to be lumped in with New Zealand & the rest of the Pacific ocean in a slot called Oceania. Those voting slots must be based on presumed player population rather than size.
We're used to that tho...

Absolutely!! And the surface area of Jupiter is vastly larger than Australia, so obvously we should have categories like this :

Jupiter
Saturn
Neptune
Planet Earth (except Australia)
Venus
Mars
Mercury
Australia

It is obvious that surface area is the most important factor to likely location of RTW players, atmospheric oxygen content, surface temperature, total population are all just trivial details in comaparison.

By the looks of it yes. I think it because of the Creative Assembly being based in England though I may be wrong.Their head office is in the UK, but they also have a base in Aus. That could maybe discount the theory.

Alternatively, perhaps Western Europeans are more open to joining Internet forums and other groups of people are not. Nobody could come from Africa due to the overall low average wealth and limited (and occasionally censored) internet access of the populace. There are also lots of unmeasurable other factors that could have influenced the result.
