no wonder this community last this long...... ive been a member for what... 8years now or so i think... and everytime i come back there's still people talking about total war, for the past years ive never been realy involved in such a group discussion i mean just visit this site read topics and had a lot of laugh especially when you read some stories of there battles/campaign/pics... im no good in english written or oral, men im from philippines:laugh4: but JUST NOW... due to that SecuRom :furious3: and maybe due to my work place(NIGERIA!!- no games here all war!!)... i post a topic, a plea more likely:embarassed: , and just hope somebody would notice me..... and alas.. in a day i have a helping hand no less than CASSU himself!!! :laugh4: :laugh4: and now im begining to understand why we as players of this games had stuck together and last....

i just hope i can be of service to someone too someday.... im planning to learn more about programing and all stuff about file/docs/etc. especially this web search/net/MOD/crack.. you all been talking about... dont know, i just care about playing my games lately but now i realised the importance of knowing the game itself..

:laugh4: :laugh4: :laugh4: :laugh4: :laugh4:

thank you for now.......

anyway since i start this one, maybe some of you too can share stories why you keep coming back to this site anyway....:idea2: just a thought??!

Please do not discuss cracks of any kind, including No CD cracks. Such discussions are specifically forbidden by the forum rules (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=45416):

Examples of objectionable messages include (but are not limited to):

Posts containing addresses of warez sites or anything piracy-related: note that this includes "hacks" designed to enable Shogun: Total War, Medieval: Total War and Rome: Total War to run without a CD. The administration is aware of the fact that some use a "no-CD hack" for the purpose of enhancing their system performance, but we feel that the possible illegal benefits from these hacks outweigh all other considerations. Such hacks also require reverse engineering of the game, and this is in violation of the End User Licence Agreement. Anything pertaining to software piracy in general is highly discouraged.

I don't want to be a hard ass, but the rules are the rules and it's my job to enforce them. Please do not take it personally.

Most people seem to come here because of the TW games, and then stick around because of the great community. If you explore the forums, you'll see that there's a lot more than just discussion of the TW games. The Mead Hall (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=37) has lots of good writing. The Throne Room (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=38) has hotseat and PBM games. The Monastery (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=16) has historical discussions. The Chapter House (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=133) has Alternate History gaming. The Arena (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=46) has discussions on all kinds of non-TW games. The Gameroom (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=156) is full of tons of entertaining mafia games. The Frontroom (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=48) has the usual entertaining chatter, and the Backroom (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=19) has lots of interesting and controversial political and social debates.

If you hang around, I'm sure you'll find something you like.
