I don't think a brand pc is good. A onemade by yourself is better.

You're going to have problems playing RTW and M2TW on any laptop that wasn't specifically designed for gaming. Both games (and especially M2TW) require a pretty beefy video card, which you don't usually find in laptops due to their size, power consumption, and heat output. The selection for RTW & M2TW capable laptops is relatively slim and the prices are high. If you don't mind limiting yourself to STW and MTW, your options expand a great deal.

I don't know how good an idea that is for a laptop, based on their supposed reputation. However, I've never done it.

The Hard Drive and Processor seem a bit slow to me, but that's all I can really comment on.

Almost eight pounds, eddy_purpus. And they never include the power brick in that weight. Just remember to swap shoulders when you're carrying that thing. Nice that it has a video card, however,

The weak link on that laptop is definitely the CPU, which is curiously slow considering the rest of the specs. Multicore CPUs are definitely the future for computers, but they're not the optimal performers just yet. That said, it's got a decent video card and a good amount of RAM. You won't be able to play RTW and M2TW on max settings, but they will definitely run. Lemur is right about the weight too; keep in mind that this is a 'desktop replacement' laptop, not an ultra-portable. This thing is designed to be easy to haul around in a bag and luggage, but needs to be used on a desk and while plugged into an outlet. It won't be very useful on your lap and running off a battery.

Got a Packard Bell a month ago (Intel DualCore 7500, GeForce8600GS) that plays M2TW even better than my desktop (AMD with 2xSLI GeForce6600)

All the settings are set at highest and I have yet to see some lag even when fighting in the Americas campaigns jungles...

Retail price is 1400 € but got a discount and it finally cost me 1000 €

Not exactly cheap but I am real happy with the rig as it is..
