Im Rome and its year 172 and when I hit the end turn button the game ctds i have one city rebelling but I reduced the population limit but it still crashed after I hit the end turn button. When I don't have the script activated the problem passes thowe. I also am pretty sure it crashes when sweboz turn is up.

It seams like I read somthing a while back on hear that was talking about this problum that was a way of by passing the ctd.I cant really remember any direction on that would be good.

Any help would be appreatiated.
Thank you

I'm pretty certain I know what your problem is. If so, downloading the fixes linked to in the previous post will take care of it.

When I start with the permanent fixes do I download one then try the game to see if the fix worked?

Or do I just download all of the permanent fixes at once and then try the game?

Download all the permanent fixes. They won't harm you. Then, if it doesn't work, try out the temporary fixes. Make sure to back up every file you replace.

Temporary fixes replace. and permanent DO NOT replace? Right?

What do you mean? If you mean, to overwrite files, you overwrite both temporary and permanent, but back all files that you are overwriting first.

But don't bother with temporary fixes if you don't need them. Get the permanent fixes, definitely, then if the CTD passes, don't get the temporary.

You said to "back up every file I replace." does that mean that the permanent fixes "replace" files? Or does the temporary fixes "replace" files? Or Both?

Im thinking you mean overwriting is the same as replace. Correct me if im wrong.

Thanks for your help. And pardon my ignorance

Yes, both of them replace files. It's as if you deleted the previous files and sent these new ones in.

Save to disk, always.

Then copy+paste into the specified folder.

So download and install the fixes. If they don't work, create your own help thread.
