Redicolus slow loadin time

Hey guys,
I realy enjoy this mod,but the only thing that lets me down here is the really slow loading times :furious3: specially the one before the opening cinematic (It can take up to 4 mins :no: )Also,the champaign map is realy slow moving (compared to the other mods).
Is there anything i can do about it?

You can remove the Client ruler bit from the script. As it is about 40% of teh entire EB script, it slows down the game a bit, as it has to make hundreds of checks. The only thing it does is to look whether you have created a level 4 government. Level 4 government comes with a client ruler, thanks to the script.

Sometimes defragmentation also yields considerable improvements in game speed.

It doesn't have to make 100's of checks. In fact it makes only 1.

Per province, yes. But it does not check all provinces in one single (simple) check.

But this is arguing semantics.

IIRC it works a lil' differently:

Make sure your hard disk is defragmented.

Also, add -nm to your EB shortcut in order to skip the intro movie.

You can look in the unofficial mods section of the forum.

Defragmenting is a tool that comes with Windows. Google it.

Four minutes? I agree with Hax, you have a good computer. If I made a list of the things I can accomplish while waiting for the opening cinematic, it would put most people to sleep. :juggle2: Thank heaven you're so lucky.
