Ok, Ive been searching the web and have yet to find some good easy to understand answers........ so plz and help would be great

1) How do I mod religion in a settlement? Like Im trying to make the East more orthodox. I went to the descr_region file and switched the percents of religion, saved, but when I play the game it is still the same. Anyway to change it?

2) How do I change region names? I found some answers to this, but I couldn't find like the same files or something, idk, any easy answer to this?

3) How do I make a region a rebel region? Such as making Crete rebel or giving it to the Byzantines.

Thanks!

1) Delete map.rwm and start a new game
2) I don't work on religions, so no idea
3) Change it in descr_strat

To change a region's name, you need two different files in your data/text folder. One is imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names.txt and the other is imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names.txt.strings.bin

To get these files, you must unpack them. Check the modding tutorials section to learn how this is done.

Now once you have these files, open the .txt one and edit it to your heart's content. After you finish, save it and delete the .strings.bin file. When you start the game, it will generate a new .strings.bin file from your .txt file and your changes will appear in the game.
