Does ANyone Here have any good infomation about Swiss Mitliarty History from 1300-1815 (when they became netrual)? Besides wikipeda, I can't find any good stuff.

Swiss Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection, and Sport (http://www.vbs.admin.ch/internet/vbs/en/home/documentation/emb_katalog/chmilarchives.html) (and sport? Honestly!). Anyhow, that's a list of some sources on Swiss Military History.

EDIT: Click on the PDF documents, not the pictures. They are in different languages, but the sources themselves should be at least partially available in English with a quick Google.

C.W.C Oman "The Art of War" has around 40pgs or so on the Swiss Confederation Army dating from around 1300 to 1500ad. It covers the Character, Arms, Orginazation, Supremecy, and Decline of the Swiss Army.

The book also covers many other civs in similar fashion.
