Apparently in Russia a man had been living a Rambo-style life for 20 years. He died recently in a pretty cool sounding shoot-out with the police, in which he wounded two officers and set alight a large chunk of forest.

Truly a great man.

I think society needs more people like him - people who just get fed up with it all and go their own way. Very admirable of him to live the way he believed. And awesome. I could easily see his life story being turned into a movie if Hollywood was to pick up on this.

No, society needs more people who start shootouts in such a truly spectacular fashion.

I'm confused. Is the Daily Mail a credible news source now?

Football or footie?

Football, kicking a round pig's bladder around.

Anyway, this guy seems pretty pathetic really, he lost a divorce battle so he gave up on life and started terrorising people.

Russian police said he descended from a family of criminals who were exiled by Stalin

Him and a few million others then. :laugh4:

Truly a great man.

Are you kidding me?

Your definition of "great" needs some serious tweaking. This guy skipped out on lawful debts, tried to murder innocent people, terrorized children, committed multiple acts of arson for no apparent reason other than he got off on burning houses down, and generally decided that laws didn't apply to him. He wasn't great, he was a loser.

And now he's a dead loser.

You should be dancing on his grave, not celebrating his life...

He was the very definition of anti-society. A loner who preyed on others. A bully who stole, terrorized and ignored any kind of social responsibility. A troll in real life, not just limited to an internet forum.

Good riddance.
