Frogbeast Egg and Lady Ann also, as well as others I possibly do not know about. To answer you question Spart (though I am not a lady (or female)), I think it is probably the same thing that makes it appeal to guys, it is a fun game. I do not see why you would think otherwise...

Whoa,whoa! I didn't mean anything chauvanistic (I think I spelled that right) by it. I'm of the mind that women are capable of anything in the world, whether it's cooking or flying fighter planes in combat or space exploration. I was just curious as to what aspects of a game like Total War they most enjoy,that's all.

Haven't seen her on the forums. The ones listed above (including Makanyane, the only one to actually respond as of yet) are the only girls that I've seen on here.
Of course,not that every Total War player in the world is on our forums.

Meh if MTW2 were to cross with Sims 2 all of those towns would have a very low population and be currently under the rule of a full dread general... and 15 assasains and 5 spys to make rule just that little bit more... clear

Also to build up your characters you often need to send them fighting for them to be any thing useful, and to build up cities you need a supporting number of towns

On a more serious note, I think that 80-90/10-20 is realistic, and in the ladies, you would find that half of them are actually some gamer's girlfriend...
