Never got to play the .7x series. What do their units look like?

Like the current Yuezhi rebels. AFAIK the rebel versions were kept in game, and I wouldn't be surprised if the original factional ones were fitted on Saka regional recruits.

The Yuezhi faction, together with the Averni and Epeiros, was kept secret until the release of the open beta, so no preview was ever made. I searched archive.org for the Yuezhi unit page (http://web.archive.org/web/20061031154454/https://europabarbarorum.com/factions_yuezhi_units.html) of the EB site, but unfortunately the images do not display.

The only Yuezhi unit made was the Early Yuezhi Nobles. It is still ingame, but there also exists a Early Saka Nobles unit. There were also the Subeshi archers, but who were cut due to model limit restrictions and a regional unit.

The Yuezhi would most likely have been almost exactly the same as Saka when it comes to types of units. However, they would have had their own Cataphract reforms as well.
Their reforms though would simply be to defeat an army with Saka Cataphracts (which was a purely regional unit before Saka were made a faction) which would be in the nearest rebel settlement. This to simulate the Yuezhi adapting the cataphract type unit into their own armies, as research done indicates the Yuezhi only began fielding armoured cavalry after making contact with the Saka peoples.

One rule for the inclusion of a faction in EB or EB2 is that the faction is playable for the human. The Yuezhi will still be outside the EB2 map, so they or any other foreign invasion will not get its own faction slot. :embarassed:
