Ok, im playing MAKEdonia and i am in a battle with pontus. The Pontus Faction leader is by himself and none of his troops near him. So i send my general (5 stars and 2 gold exp bars) and 300 Hetairoi to kill the faction leader. What happens is probably the worst thing about this mod. The faction leader actually kills more then half of my calvary and lives only because i have to retreat to save my calvary. Now how in the hell does that happen? Please someone on the eb team tell me that in 1.1 a general/factionleader cant kill half my army on the battle map.
P.S. ARE U SERIOUS
BTW i love this mod and dont think any other mod comes close to this one.
Hehe.
One word: Argyraspides.

Another one: nope.
That guy must've had a massive amount of HP.
Just charge him from three sides, that should work. Cuts like a knife through butter.
How many exp did that bodyguard have? Of course, we Seleucids have Hellenikoi Kataphraktoi, that works MUCH better.

Did they strike at the charge, successively, from three directions? That routs most generals, Thessalians are more than capable of doing that job, Hell, the Makedonians don't actually need infantry, successive strikes by heavy cavalry, one unit at a time, starting with the general and then the light troops is a battle winner.

When you've killed everyone except the enemy general, can't you just press Esc and end the battle? You should get a victory, surely?
Perhaps a drawback is that the enemy general might escape, but realistically, a general who's lost his entire army should be running for his life!

Alas, you can't end the battle without losing it if there is still a standing foe on the field.
And if I was a general who has lost his whole army, I'd be likely to make a bloody end of myself rather than escaping and facing dishonnor.
he who runs away, lives to fight another day.
If i was a general in that situation, i'd bolt for safety and return at the head of a new army :p
