Noticed in one of Andres' posts, a little birthday icon had appeared (happy birthday Andres :grin2:)
The wording is: Andres has a birthday.
Everyone has a birthday...
Recommended rewordings:
It's *username*'s birthday today!
*username* has a birthday today!
*username* turns *age* today
Happy Birthday *username*
I didnt notice that feature before, its cool.
Are you sure it wasn't inserted by Andres? :inquisitive:
I think he likes subtle hints like that and I didn't see it in any of his posts yet.

Only Admins can do that, right?
Anyways, at the bottom of the screen:

But yeah, agree with pevergreen. I didn't quite know what the phrase meant-- did it mean that it was his birthday, or was it inviting people to click on it to reveal the member's birthday? A pretty odd choice of words.
You guys are so cruel.
Why are you focusing the attention of all Orgah's to the horrible, cruel and terrifying 30?
Couldn't you pick another day to discuss this?
:bigcry:
That screenshot is from the guild main screen or forum selection screen, that's been there for some time and works completely automatic as long as you entered a date of birth in your profile, pever said it was in Andres's post, I took that quite literal and didn't see anything like that in his posts. Maybe a link to the post would be of help?
It's got an icon in the RTW skin:

If you hold the cursor over it, it pops up the "Andres has a birthday" text.
Oh that thing...
Thanks for the screenie, not sure I noted that before.

*username* turns *age* today
Unusable. Some of us conceal our birth years. Not that I care but I don't agree with the counting convention. This June I'll be 33 but the forum will say it's 32, in mom's fashion. :shame:

It's bound to be a good thing in a few years. :laugh4:
.
Maybe have the icon but next to it in brackets the age of the person with the birthday.

It can still be something like "It's *username*'s birthday today!" or something, right? Or at least something less ambiguous than "*username* has a birthday".
