Burgandy: A Winter Wonderand?

I recently had a rebellion in Burgandy, and when I took the field it was full of snow! I've never seen a Winter map in MTW, what with there not being seasons and all.

Does this happen often? I like it.

Every 4th battle that you fight in a turn is in winter. It goes:

1st battle = spring
2nd battle = summer
3rd battle = fall
4th battle = winter
5th battle = spring
