Somewhere along the Rhine river 1944,

It has been a quiet year for the prisoners of Stalag 21. The allied prisoners had been biding their time, seeming to do nothing out of the ordinary. at least that what it looked like to the Nazi Guards. But all throughout the year the prisoners had been digging a long tunnel that lead into the woods beyonf the camp. And after months of preparation, the first prisoners were going to escape. So on the night of March 15th 1944, two men slipped through the tunnel. But soon after they exited the tunnel they were mowed down by MG42 machine guns that were outside the camp. the next day the prisoners were forced to excavate their tunnel and fill it in. Soon the word of 'Snitch' passed through the ranks. The men thought the only way to solve this would be to form a commitee to hunt out the snitch (or snitches). The hunt began on March 27th.

Rules:

-Standard Mafia rules
-person with most votes is lynched
-no quoting of Pms or any screenshots (violators will be WOGGED)


Roles:

Security
-Standard Detective
-elected every other day by other members of comitee
-results will be either innocent, unclear, or guilty


Barracks chief
-everyone knows who the Barracks chief is.
-decides who will try to escape (explained below)
-if killed, the barracks chief will be chosen at random

Snitch
-Mafia
-2 members=1 snitch
-snitch=attempt to kill
-only show up guilty if try to snitch on someone that night

perhaps secret roles


Special Rules
-Every night phase the Barracks chief will send a pm to a member who will be selected to try to escape. Only the Barracks chief and the escapee know.(and obviously me)
-The escapee cannot refuse
-The escapee will always be returned to the barracks after sucessful escape for game sake.

@shlin-obviously in reali life the prisoners could get away but if all the people escape than there are no comitte members left and the snitches would eventually win.

I'm in, but very new to the game, so I have a few questions.

1) Will you PM all roles before the start of the game or just the named roles (I.E. assume no PM = you're a townie)

2) How do mafiosi typically communicate in an online Mafia game? Through PMs? What if there are more than 2.

3) I know this has been asked, but what exactly is the point of the station chief and escapee roles. Does the escapee get to vote that day? How do you determine if he suceeded?

3.) As ive stated the escapee is for the story's sake only.only the escapee and barracks chief no who will try to escape. The determination if they suceed is made by the random choice of the Mafia to snitch on.If they mafia snitches correctly the escapee dies. if not the escapee survives to come back.understand?

The barracks chief is just a random wrench in the middlw of things.

srry bout that. the snitch can only kill someone if the person is the escapee. If they guess wrong, it simply doesnt happen.

As you can see I nominated myself for barracks chief, here is my reasoning: if you agree then vote for me. The mafia cannot kill anyone they want willy nilly - only if their guess corresponds with the Barracks chief. This means that assuming mafia don't vote for themselves and chief cannot try to escape, then there is only a 1/9 shot that they will kill someone by luck.

If the mafia kills someone, especially more than once, then we know Barracks Chief is in the mafia, and we should lynch him. I am confident that I am innocent and as such volunteer for the job. If the mafia snitches someone out, particularly more than once, then I invite you all to lynch me.

From the storyline perspective - no idea. From a mechanics perspective it means that mafia can't kill anyone unless they control station chief role. I'm trying to keep it in townie hands

Im sorry if these seems brief but i dont have much access to a comp right now...but a more detailed write up will come later. Night One is over. Andres escaped sucessfully but was captured quickly after his valiant attempt. The commitee must elect a barracks chief and a security man today as well as decide wheter they will lynch anyone today.

Shlin - quite frankly my top suspects are Gibson / Andres in that order. I am not sure why you switched your vote to TP, however I've got 2 votes against me by Gib/Andres so I switched from Gib to Andres to make a clear vote leader.
