Has anyone seen that advertisement for Gladiatus at the bottom of the webpage? If you can't find the link click my sig for a direct one. Of course, I have to tell you that my sig has my link, which is an American server (but you can change it if you want).

I just wanted people opinions on this odd...game..it sure is a good time waster if you are just surfing the net. I also just wanted to ask if anyone actually buys those "rubies", or gems..diamonds..you've seen them all in text based games.

And from my experience, text based games don't last too long and end up being shut down..so how come they keep surfacing?

And feel free to avoid my sig, im not trying to make you all click it, just wanted opinions on this sort of game.

The single best and most involved text-based game you'll ever find is DragonRealms (http://www.dragonrealms.net). FAR more complex than any MUD, and has a far greater following.

Quite clearly, it believes you are trying to cheat... I don't play the game myself but I'd believe it's something to do with your browser. Are you using Firefox? It could be an extension. If not, it could be a keylogger or something.
... or it could just be a one off thing and all you have to do is register again or something...

You can be either, it only affects some of the later items, but they are all balanced (and the alignment items aren't necessarily better than the non alignment ones, just cheaper). Good gives more towards dexterity and stamina (generally 1H/shield) while evil gives more fighting ability and strength (generally 2H).

Interesting. The crappy dialup service I'm on right now is so slow it's taking forever just to open the first page linked to, but when I get on wireless later, I'll register. Probably just as Zim[TW.ORG]. Makes it easier when I use the same name everywhere. :beam:

You are most welcome to join. The frontpage loads rather slowly overseas for me too, but the game itself loads rather quickly.

Bah, registering to KnightFight reminds me of when I used to play Roman Arena (http://romanarenalite.com/index.cgi). It was fun and all but it soon got repetitive. Why, I've still got the registration email they sent me when I first joined, I got it in early '06.

Just as a minor update, our guild is about to win its 2nd guild war and is doing well overall. Only 5 ORG members are active at the moment with a lot having joined and gone inactive immediately :tongue2:
