maybe there is another thread about this topic somewhere on this forum but i was thinking:
what are the best/worst virtues & vices for generals/princes/kings and what triggers them?

+ skilled attacker and
+ skilled defender after a long defensive or offensive battle
+ scant mercy increasing dread during battle; by killing pow once.
+ swift justice increasing dread in the strategy part of the game; by killing all the rebels once.

- adultery or incest; i dont know what triggers those. has a negative effect on morale
- eager to retreat/good runner, morale effects; after retreating before battle.

For me the best are any that either improve command and morale for generals, or improve happiness and Acumen for governors.

The worst have to be the nutter one, Crack Brained and Complete Loon. They can take a perfectly good general or governor and ruin him.

I had a prince with -2 valor. I sent him to war 3 turns in a row. He is now +4 and just became a fierce warrior. He is still a drunk though.

Incest has to be the best. Well, if you'd met my sister you'd think so, anyway. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif

Incest isn't really that bad as far as MTW goes.. but anyone with the "Pervert" vice should be killed as soon as possible... especially Royalty.

I hate the morale and command lowering ones. Conversely, I love the +command ones.

For my governors, I like +acumen. It makes a big diff.

For king, I like acumen, influence and command. When you have a high acumen king die and a low one take the throne, you notice it in a big way.
