Green Arrows? Banners?

I read somewhere on here about someone playing with "Green Arrows" and "Banners" turned off to enhance visual realism, and certainly I've seen it in some of the nicer-looking screenshots. Question is: How do I do it? Thanks ahead of time for any input.:help:

check your preference file (it's a notebook document) and write instead of TRUE FALSE,
it should be sth like show banners: TRUE, the same goes with arrows

preferences.txt can be found in your \EB\Preferences\ folder. The values should read:
DISABLE_ARROW_MARKERS:TRUE
SHOW_BANNERS:FALSE
