It's still too small to read unless i burn my eyes out up close to the monitor,
and it's waay too dark...hard to read even up close and squinting...
and i hope a dev reads this and fixes it over there...

Hi,
If you look in the view menu of your browser you will see a setting that lets you change the size of text on the page you're viewing. That way you can still see the new official boards, even if they don't change it. (Which they should. It's a poor combination of dark background and typeface.)
Hope that helps out.
Piano,
V'ger gone
It's ugly I tell ya! UGLY!
You can change the font size, and you can also post in different fonts...
olaf
firstly changing the setting in the browser does not impact the content of the post,
only the text on the background page,
secondly i'm not going to fiddle with the "on page ignore text size" function in my browser, because that will impact every site i visit,
third there is no option in the XMB user control panel to "over-ride" the default font size of the post
fourth I can indeed post in larger font, but not everyone is doing so,
solution 1
change the sites default font size and colour
solution 2
i won't go there!

i dont actually find it unreadable at all ?
example
http://www.totalwarforums.com/viewthread.php?tid=258
first post,
am hovering a wordpad document, text in arial, over the page,
font size on page equates to Under EIGHT points,
hovering wordpad over your post in this thread,
font size equates to ELEVEN points,
eight point on white - readable, (still hard on eyes)
eight point on dark blue - forget it.
