I was just wondering what you do to get the console to come up on M2TW?

The console is usually activated by either the "¬" or "~" key on your keyboard.

Sometimes certain hardware devices can affect the result though. A media centre remote control is such a device. It is advisable that you disconnect/disable it if you cannot activate your console conventionally.
