The perfect Wife

Im playing a Danish campaign, and i was just wondering, how much charm do you reckon the perfect wife would have, i was going to marry my faction heir to a Russian Princess, but when i looked at her charm, she didnt have any, and i thought what a wretch, how can my royal line survive when a wretch marries the Prince, wretches dont like giving birth to children, so i was just curious, what do you reckon the perfect wifes charm should be, well a princess worthyy enough to marry, what would be the lowest charm rating you would reccomend???

I would suggest at least 5 charm...

In the unmodded version of the game, I think only the French princess reaches that level...

One way would be to raise the level of your own princess by striking diplomatic deals (on favorable terms for the other party) to raise her level and then marry her to your heir or better yet to the next in line (to prevent any consanguinity problems...)

I was thinking of doing that, but im near the start of the game, and you cant marry a brother to his sister, so..... Im looking for constance anyway.... I think thats the name of the level 5 charm princess

I had a Sicilian princess walk past with 8 charm 16 years old so grabbed her and my heir/her husband immediately turned to drinking and embracing other men. Go figure. The French one (Constance) can be trained to 8- I usually send her to get the Polish guy who's a genius but turns into an alcoholic soon after....

the ugly stick princess issue was (partially) addressed in patch 1.02, so make sure you're running at least on that version.

Is it best not to let your heir marry until you find a another factions princess?? Is there any difference besides names of the women who approach you?

I always get stuck with wenches for princesses so i rarely ever get any acceptances when i offer a marriage alliance but one time my faction heir got to marry a princess with 7 charm. Honestly though i have married them off with 4 stars or more on average. Thats usually the best way to go since you still get plenty of kids with that.
