I have yet to play around with chariots but looking at the unit tab for scythed chariots it lists their hp's as 0, is this right?

Nope, there was a mixup with the chariots & elephants hp. Now, there also is a fix around on these forums somewhere... Dunno if it's among the stickied fixes maintained by Bovi, though.

chariots die too fast ><

I hardly have a real good use for them, they just run around and die or come back and bite my troops in the ass lol

anyone else found a use for em aside from suicidal charges...?

Or keeping em around for the fear factor...?

I like sending them after enemy heavy cav or enemy FMs. since the cav have no mass, the chariots keep rolling through them and the scythes really mess up the enemy cav - and even if your scythe chariots rout, the enemy will try to chase them and get owned even more - ever tried to chase a routing scythe chariot unit?

Hmm good stuff to know, I can't say that I've ever used chariots before.

I liked using chariots when playing Casse - it is always good to have any enemy you face feeling intimidated just by the presence of your FM.

My Scythed Chariots worked wonders in my Pontos campaign, simply by attacking engaged phalanxes in the back. Instant rout for most enemies.

Haha yeah I chased em a few times with cruddy cavalry....I think it was those hippokontistai or w.e, they got CAPWNED lol

hmm...Idk...they seem to just die lol, I played a pontos campaign just for the scythed chariots and they werent as great as I thought they were....plus...there really isnt the large amount of infantry required for them to be effective, since most of the time I was facing a phalanx heavy opponent (gray death :S)
