Just wondering why that thread was locked, well I can guess why it was locked really but oh well don't want tog et myself a warning. Any way anyone care to explain why my assistant mod rights were revoked with out any warning or even a PM when I was voted for by the "community" to mod that forums?
Personally I think i deserve an explanation or apology as the very least. As you can see im being very calm and collective in this post, there for a expect replys to be in the same manner.

Hello tibilicus,
There's no AM activity since 2-15-07, and your last post in that forum was from 10-21-2007.

Well there was about 20 threads in the space of 6 months non whichr equired moderator action, and although I don't post that often I was always here reading threads, keeeping an eye on things. seems rather unfair in my opinion.

I may be gone for 4 days at a time, but I'm planning a return to TW full time on the 5th of May, lets get that out of the way Now Gentlemen.
Second, I Always post in the MTW2 MP fourm when I log in at least 1 time, even more then once, many times if I can.
The Reason I closed the thread was because I did not feel like it was good to keep it open. Since you had a problem, I'm glad you deicded to bring it here, and not contiune it in tournment fourm.
However, I will not comment anymore on this issue unless needed. My Apogles Tib.
Thank You.

I never said it was about you, tons of mods here havn't touched total war in years but they still keep their positions.
All I wanted out of this thread was ane explanantion and an apology as i feel hard done to. And from replys you sort of get the message of" ah well, it doesn't matter". True, im not paritcuarly botherd about not being, just the curicumstances it was under and how I wasn't even Pm'd about the matter before you took my role.
Seeems like ive just been snubbed to be honest.

AM's are not, in non busy areas, that vital. They help out and all, but not vital.
That being said, I would expect a PM note that you were going to lose AM, or at least notification of why you had lost them...
Notice of dismissal?
pevergreen, that is basically rubbish and you know this full well. So the Assistant Moderators aren't vital here?
Why post in this thread simply to gloat and revel in his downfall?
As far as I'm concerned it is those such as the members and Assistant Moderators that make this place and when I see attitudes such as your's, coming from a Senior Member, I find it somewhat disappointing.

I think pevergreen meant to say that they aren't vital because those fora don't need a lot of moderating, not a lot of closing/moving threads etc. Not that AM's aren't useful.
Staff isn't vital btw. only the software and hardware is vital for the org to exist ~;).
Assistant moderators are, as the name indicates, assistant moderators. They help mods to help them to not be slaves of the forums.

I have saved Beirut and Papewaio, and will be doing another family guy a favor again, by saving Lemur from such misery.
Oh how magnanimous am I. :smoking:

This is not a good behiavour of a AM.

What -- magnaminity? You're saying ruthlessness is preferred instead? Guess I was doing something wrong all this time then.... ~;p

Thats exactley it.
I have no reason to gloat at someone being removed from AM. If anything I would start attacking Tosa...

*Slaps head*
I knew I shouldnt have left it there.
This has wandered off topic from quite a serious issue. I fail to see how a lack of activity lost Tib his assisstant mod status when he says he logs in frequently. Is he expected to mod for the sake of it?

When you a AM of a fourm, I'm not expecting you to post there everyday, but you can't go posting there every once in a while, and pretend that you do. When you take a AM of a part of a fourm here, it means you have interest in that section and suppose to post in it.
I was not aware that Tosa was going to revoke Tib's AM Rights. I know e was going to remove Hoso and Bazzar because they didn't log in for 6-10 months, but I was suprise that he did.

"Rolo", modding for sake is common business since Shogun was released.

I don't have a resonable explation for this Tib. I'm sorry this happen. I asked Tosa to AM the M2TW MP Fourm. I thought me and you would share the fourm so to speak and AM it, because Bazzar hasn't been in since Octorber. But I ddidn't know he was going to Remove all 3 of you and just add me.
I'm Sorry. All I can say.

I understand that you are confused, hurt even angered... but restlessness only leads to being overlooked, being a big grouch only leads to being mocked..

But Like Tib, I don't appecaite some of the comments here that were made. It is a serious thread, yet "funny" remarks and jokes were made,so I understand his anger.

Jokes made will not drive Tosa away to make a reply, if he intends to. A bit of humor cools down the tension in every thread, hence making it an essential in my opinion.
Sorry if it sounded like we are a bunch of ring-the-bell-and-run kids but that was not the point.

From the FAQ......
What Are Moderators?
Moderators oversee specific forums. They generally have the ability to edit and delete posts, move threads, and perform other manipulations. Becoming a moderator for a specific forum is usually rewarded to users who are particularly helpful and knowledgeable in the subject of the forum they are moderating.
There is no mention of suppose to post in it.
I am assuming that Assistant Moderators have less powers than Moderators.
This will depend on how the Administrator sets what each is able to perform.
