I had a splendid week-end. But all good things come to an end. In this case, the end is represented by some sort of buzzing sound, too early in the morning.

Monday morning. Not exactly my favourite period of the week. Sure, I like my job. I really do. But still, that awfull sound early in the morning forcing me to get up, it causes shivers to my spine.

To make things worse though, I stumbled out of my bed and I fell, hurting my knee. It's a bit blue now. But that's ok.

Then, I cut myself twice while shaving. It kept bleeding for 5 minutes. But eventually, it stopped, no biggie.

After breakfeast, I was ready to leave. I reached for my car keys in my pocket and guess what. Somehow, I pushed my hand too hard in my pocket and... a tear in my trousers.

:wall:

Changed trousers. Hurry into the car. And yep, what was driving before me. A tractor. At 30 km/h and no way to get passed it. But I have a CD-player, so, it's ok.

To reach the office parking lot at work, you have to go through a small gateway, with two little walls on each side. You have to be a bit careful, but it's not too difficult to get through it, especially not when you drive a rather small car like me. I've gone through that gate a zillion times. I can drive through it backwards and with my eyes closed.

But not this morning. Eyes open and straight forward. Bumped into one of the little walls with the back of my car. Followed by a strange sound. Apparently, I did not only manage to damage the carrosserie (sp?), but I also had a flat tire.

:bigcry:

Changed the wheel during my lunch break. Damaged tire and wheel probably not repearable, not to mention the carrosserie --> alot of :2cents:

This got to be the worst monday morning I ever had and all of it because of my own stupidity/clumsiness (except for the tractor guy).

Sorry, I had to vent.

I hate Monday mornings. I really do. There should be a law against Monday mornings :mean:

Thnx for your attention.

Well, I forgot to get up for a driving lesson at 8am this morning but I still have to pay for the lesson. And I think my instructor might be a tiny bit annoyed.

...if that's any consolation. ~

WORD!!! Monday is the best reason for the general introduction of 3 day week-ends in my humble opinion...especially if you went out drinking on Friday & had to use all of Saturday for recovery...:juggle2: :laugh4:

Just to tell y'all.
This is a splendid Monday. :2thumbsup:

No traffic to work (to speak of).
Great lunch.
I have finished a lot of loose ends and work.
It's now 15:51...
I can go home to my beautiful wife and kids. She has been home today and it is her turn to cook.

Life is wonderful :beam:

Wow, it's like looking in a mirror, the difference is that it's not just the Monday morning for me, its normally every weekday.......basically whenever I get up early enough for something bad to happen.
Therefore I sleep really late on weekends.

Sorry to hear that Andres, I hope you get some compensation during the rest of the week. Well, today my boss called and I had to/chose to work six hours until midnight, but I'd call that a good thing. :2cents: ~D

Woke up this morning after a long night partying with my friend. Believe me going to work moving furniture after 2 hours of sleep doesn't mix, neither does sleeping on a cold ground and the smell of whiskey(not a big fan of alcohol) right next to me yuchh!

Man my spelling sucked...

I was going to post an office space picture, but I couldn't find a good one.

Anyway, it sucks your Monday went to so poorly.

The weather here sucked (cold and overcast) but I did have a fairly good day.

sorry! :whip:

That sucks Andres. Mondays are often like that (especially my morning lecture), just have to try relax (and by relax I mean wait until the evening lecture and sit there gawking at all the girls :laugh4:) and find the humour in everything, I find that works.

For me just coming off of a nice weekend is awful, nothing bad has to happen. Just being awake sucks.

All in all, is just another brick in the wall. Or a kick in the balls, I'd say.

only problem with that is I was at a company owned by a bunch of old ladies, so no eye candy for me...
