I just blinked and missed most of a TV add for MTW!!

I think it's the first add for a PC "wargame" I've ever seen - it's not a big market in this part of the world!! http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

wow, that's awesome. you rarely see ads for PC games.

anyone got a tv capture? maybe CA/activision has it? i'd love to see it

I haven't seen the commercial, but I did get a chance to see a pretty good segment about MTW on Tech TV.

Cool. One time I seen the Civ 3 for the TV. It was History station...But thats it. For the US anyway.Hakonarson, was it the History station?

It was on a local national network - TV 4 - on a "Sci-Fi" saturday night & was repeated another 4 or 5 times that I saw later on - in programmes like ST:Voyager & Earth Final Conflict. The channel is aimed at a fringe market - lots of sci-fi, fantasy, etc.

It's about a 10 or 15 second extract from the movie at the start of hte programme I think - there's lots of scenes of troops charging, walls falling down, trebuchet's "firing", and that one where the siege tower moves up to the side of the wall and a bunch of arrows hit it.

I know how you feel, blackfire, *sniffles*, I know how you feel. I have been reading the manual just to get my MTW fix.
