View Full Version : Green Tea
So I've been on a get fit and eat healthier phase lately.
I've been wondering about green tea. I've read some real good things about it but the wealth of knowledge on the internet confuses me a bit.
A) Which Green Tea Brand is good to brew? (Favorite among orgahs)
B) Green Tea Extract any good? If so, what dose per day?
Thanks!

Best if you can get the whole leaf and brew it. Truly strong stuff that I had in Taiwan was a real eye opener.
At work I have Lipton's Green Tea with Citrus tea bags.
Right now I'm in my second week of not drinking coffee for six weeks.
Green tea helps with some of this by providing a mild buzz (in comparison) as does sports drinks in the first few days to combat the headaches.

Congrats with quitting coffee. I like a cup a few times a week, but I know people who drink cups per day.

Most green tea will work for it's benefits but I just read adding a squeeze of lemon into your cup of green tea really accelerates the antioxidant properties of the tea!

A few drops of lemon juice often go well with tea, no matter the colour.

Meh go for good jasmin, healthy and makes you a bit high.

We carry a brand called Haiku (http://www.great-eastern-sun.com/shopnew/haikuteas.html), which isn't bad at all. It offers Sencha, Hojicha and Kukicha varieties, all of which taste nice to this happa. I'm not that particular though. I like the Sencha best.
Ahh just drink tea how it should be, none of this green goo. Forget about your health when it comes to tea and do not spoil the tea stereotype. :beam:
