What are the exact resources present in the game?I mean like what are the various trade items present?
From the descr_sm_resources files I get these....
Gold
Silver
Pottery
Furs
Grain
Timber
Iron
Olive oil
Wine
Slaves
Glass
Marble
Textiles
Purple dye
Incense
Silk
Wild animals
Hides
Tin
Copper
Lead
Amber
Elephants
Camels
Pigs
Dogs

but I notice that the trade menu .TGAs each of these is tied to is slightly different.this is what I notice
Gold -
Silver -
Pottery -
Furs
Grain
Timber
Iron
Olive oil
Wine
Slaves
Glass
Marble
Textiles
Purple dye
Incense
Silk/honey
Wild animals
Hides
Tin
Copper
Lead
Amber
Elephants
Camels/horse
Pigs/fish
Dogs/salt

The units being those that are not named to correspond to the icon they depict..However I noticed also two types of grain bundles and a handcuffs resource which I presume might be slaves but then I see that slaves have another icon also..so I need some help from the game makers here to resolve this.

I am actually planning to increase the values of the trade resources in game to make more money available for the factions from trade which takes very very long to get going so I was wondering if I could do a gradual valuation with gold being say 25 and grain or hides being 5...COuld anyone help me on this?:help:

OT here, but does anyone really bother with the details of the trade aspect of the game? Other than building merchant ports etc I mean.

what is bugged grain?Could't it be made into say barley or something and grain becomes wheat?Also just a question, would it be possible to revert to the old resource icons from RTW Vanilla?

bugged grain is vanilla grain, which granted a hardcoded big bonus to pop growth

why didnt they just leave grain as grain and then use the glass as something else or leave it be.I wish we had more resource types...anything can be done?

Exactly, slaves is also hardwired into RTW and since we like refugees just better to represent that effect...

Anyways, to revert to old icons, simply find the icons in the EB folder and delete 'em ... should make the game revert to the old ones. I think.
