I had a 7 star general, old royal knights, with the V&V good runner wich game my men -3 in morale, but with many other better V&V. I put him a way in the papal states, I was going to use the men in the unit as spare men to another better gen then disband the general cuz i didnt want him with that much penalty in morale.

I forgot about the gen and about 20-30 yrs later the pope attacked me in that territory.
I had to defend with:
6 units of crossbowmen,
5 units of chiv. serg.
and the gen

the battle didnt last long, maybe 3-5 mins.

I put my shooters on hold 3 rows in each unit and 2 lines of the units. I had the chivs infront of them on hold too. and bhind the shooters i had my gen.

The pope attacked my right flank and with 4 of his cav he routed 3 units of the chivs almost without fighting. with my 2 left chivs i roushed to the other side to try to stop the enemy to getting to my shooters wich stayd even when the chivs routed right thru them.

anyway the 2 chivs i had left bearly reached intime to stop the enemy and manage to defend against the enemy. They started to wave. Then i thout: what the hell im going to lose anyway and i didnt want that gen anyway so i circle around the enemys flank attacking his spare units and his shooters, trying to take as many as possible b4 the gen died or routed. But after killing the all the shooters and spare units or making them rout, I attacked the units that was about to rout my last chivs. I aimed for the gen unit killed their gen then all the enemys unit routed.

My bad gen saved that day very good with 100+ kills and 200+ prisoners. with only 7 men died in his own unit.

he got the V&V perfect defender (i think it is called that)

Im not going to disband him now. But I wonder is there is any good way to get rid of the good runner V&V without assassin my gen, disband him or send him into death??? I want him alive and I want him in my ranks.
