HELP!!!

This is what happened: i uninstalled barbarian invasion but rome total war wouldn't uninstall so i deleted the files etc,still won't uninstall so i went to the recycling bin and restored the files but it still wouldn't uninstall so i reinstalled barbarian invasion and it still won't uninstall. I've been stupid!:wall:. Someone please help me!:help:

Have you tried re-installing rome over the top of the existing installation?

The install on the menu is grey so i can't click it and it won't let me reinstall it or play both games.

I don't really know what to suggest, short of deleting all the files manually and then deleting the registry entries. I'm stumped.

Have you tried uninstalling them through your Add/Remove programs in your Control Panel?

Yeah i have but it comes up error,cannot find files etc

Yeah deleted the files and restored them etc but it still won't uninstall.

put the disc in and click uninstall ont he launcher, if that doesnt work, go into regedit (type reg edit in run) then find the corresponding bit and delete the files

I would back up your registry before doing anything though. Just in case :smiley2:

If i uninstall barbarian invasion RTW won't work! How can i play RTW? Should i uninstall RTW then reinstall it?

I would make sure to uninstall Rome and BI and then reinstall Rome on it's own.

Is that what your trying to achieve?

Hehe... Raz, its because i experiment with OS's all the time, modding stuff and registry editing etc, and it is 2nd nature to me, althouhg maybe not to others.

And im a Foolish Horseman because i foolishly ordered a cavlry unit on m2tw to attack 6 units of spearmen :( i shamed myself.
