"I love it when a plan comes together"

This is a little to big IMHO for the celebration thread. My emotional state has recently changed from cold indifference to schoolboy after his first kiss. I can't stop smiling and making the most stupid remarks.

Why you ask? In the last few months everything has come together in my advantage.

1. On the 31th of january, my birthday of all days, I finally passed my thesis (final, very extensive paper) and therefore graduated as master in the public administration.

2. Two weeks ago I got a new job, which I start at next week. I've been working for more than a year now (while writing my thesis) but I never dreamt that I would get such an opportunity at this moment. I'll become junior general manager at a company of about 50 people in the services sector. NO ONE gets such a chance with the experience I've got.

3. I just bought a house. Well actually my girlfriend and I came to an agreement with the owners but we still have to sign on paper.
I don't know if everybody can imagine what this means. In Belgium you don't directly leave the parental house right after your studies but you save up to buy a house or build one when the time is right. This can take a few years.
The time is just perfect.

Nothing can ruin my mood right now and I think this can last for quite some time. I feel like I'm cruising through life and everything just falls right into place.

Wonderful! :sunny:

But do not tempt fate, she's s scurvy wench who respects neither riches nor health. Now is the time to commit an act of decency and humility in order to keep a balance. ~:yin-yang:

An act of charity might be a good idea.

Phill - congrats. Everything seems to be going perfectly right for me too. Although, it seems the more i slack off, the better things get.

Whatever. Life is indeed good for a select lucky few of us :beam:
