Hi
I'm playing EB 1.0 as the Romani, currently I am around 215 B.C. but I've expanded quite beyond historical limits (I own almos all spain, gaul, dalmatia and some thrace, all mediterranean isles except cyprus & rhodos, chartage, adrumeto and utica).

One of my best generals got the "Potential Reformer" trait ... but I wonder If I can get marian reforms so early (it seems to me that one prerequisite is at least 175 B.C.). Do I have to do something with him (well, at least avoid getting him killed ahah) to have reforms? He is now 50, so I don't suppose he'll last till 175 BC ...

Thank you

Just as you can get an Augustus just after the Marians but not the Augustan Reforms for a hundred years, you can get a dozen wannabe-Marians without getting the Marian reforms. You´ll just have to wait until 175 BC or whatever the time is set at.

Yeah you'll have to wait until 172 BC for the reforms to trigger that way. The only way to get it before that year is to have 90 settlements.

Just as I tought ... but now I'm sure :juggle2:
I will have to raze 90 settlements then :laugh4:

or you could just change the script to allow your reforms to happen now.
