Did a clean re-installation and my minimap has gone ugly:

It didn't look like that before, not sure what's happened. I can't actually tell Epeiros from the sea now.

Used to be thus:

Any ideas?

Settings?

I don't think I changed anything in the first place, settings-wise. You think it's a graphical settings thing?

Yup, either enforced from whithin RTW; or from your GFX card... (Possibly you have updated drivers and stuff; and settings got reset in the process?)

I've not updated my drivers or done anything different. I'm fairly certain on re-installing I didn't change any settings to anything different to my usual.

Any chance you changed from using 32 bit to 16 bit in the campaign map resolution? I wouldn't know if that would do anything, but it doesn't hurt to look.

Yea that could very well be 'it' ...

Either the files "RADAR_MAP1.TGA" and "RADAR_MAP2.TGA are missing from the folder "imperial_campaign" found in the ...EB\Data\world\maps\campaign\, or you are playing with BI.exe. If you are playing with the BI.exe, then creating a folder called "barbarian_invasion" where the "imperial_campaign" folder is located and copying "RADAR_MAP1.TGA" and "RADAR_MAP2.TGA" into the "barbarian_invasion" folder should bring the radar map to normal. As I think that the BI.exe default to that folder when looking for information of the sort.

I am indeed playing with BI.exe and I changed the name of the "imperial_campaign" folder, which should have worked. I'll have another look.

Might require the imperial_campaign folder to exist at the same time. I have seen what you have but never had any problem of the sort as I always copied the imperial_campaign folder and renamed it to barbarian_invasion.

I've renamed the imperial_campaign copy back to it's original name, we'll see how that goes in the morning.

Thanks!

Changing the copy of that directory back to it's original name worked!
