I'm playing as the romani, and the Sweboz seemed to start as they normally would, but for the past 20 turns or so, they have moved absolutely NOTHING. They have 7 staks in the 3 territories they own in the year 250, and they're not moving any of them!

What gives?

still seems odd. I've played games where the sweboz jump out and expand throughout europe VERY quickly.

Yeah but that's the thing with AI: it's not really predictable; and if it decides to go for the real Eleutheroi powers that be (the roving generals et all) than they're piecemeal, de facto.

what the- are you making fun of country folk? just because they don't live in urban centers... jeez :wall: maybe they like to take their time, huh? ever thought about that? ~;)

Playing Romani, that would worry me more than 3 stacks and 7 provinces.

Every Romani campaign I've run has the sweboz making a bee line for milan by the 210 timeframe. They come right down the rhine ignoring the baltic region and most of gaul. If they get off to a slow start dont worry they will show up and you had better be ready for them.

Sweboz was an absolute monster in my first Rome campaign. It was my first time playing RTW and I played horribly and started off way too slowly and let Carthage get too big, so before I finally just threw in the towel in 130 BC, Carthage had all of Spain and France, while Sweboz had the rest of Europe except Italy.
