hi men.
i can't get a clue of how iiis the system with temples & buildings on EB. why are the temples so many? how do the buildings affect economy and army raising?
i mean: if iread the explanation about the buildings, is often just an increase of population' happiness, and -sometimes-increase i tradeable goods. ok, fine.but:
how to make a STRONG economy? which buildings? ohw to make effective barracks? all these tempels make me confused.
and this STRATEGY expl. does not help much, sorry...
so can you tell me how to do? or redirect me to some post that explains it?
thanks

There is a guide to temples here:

To me, the choice of temples is mostly a role-playing thing.

You can anticipate the effect of buildings on your economy by selecting the particular building for construction and then opening the city details scroll. The icons in "city income" bar will change to show how much your economy will increase (faded icons) or decrease (flashing icons). Same goes for public order and city growth. Sadly, there is no way to see the effects of buildings further down the line, but generally they increase income/growth/order by the same margin. Just focus on the type of building (economy, happiness, growth, military) you need the most.

BTW, have you found the building trees in the documentation folder yet?

thank you, ludens.
the problem is that i know this way to see the effects. is the same of RTW. BUT: in EB the scroll does not highlght nearly anything, and buildings seem to be poorly economic-oriented (i need money to build powerful armies...), and mostly religious.
i downloaded the building map in PDF, but does not give too much explanation about the real value of the buildings...

Powerful armies were hideously expensive, and building up an economy also took a considerable amount of time and money. EB is only realistic in this respect. Sadly, there is no way to tell the effect of buildings further down the building line. You can usually make an educated guess, though.

You can use the building trees provided with the mod.
