I have always wondered about it, especially in, you guessed it, Arabia. namely pre islamic ones. here's what I got:
burdah=mantle
izar=like a loincloth
rida'=cloaklike cloth
na3l= sandal
sirwal=pants, breeches
I also know about the samma', which is a mantle worn like a chiton.
but what is a shamla? anyone out there knows?(I'm not sure) what is a rayt too? and a baghir? any other items I'm missing? please do help
(I figured that EB may know something, so don't shoot/ flame) lpus there is no where else to put it.
