I tried a search on this topic but I didn't find anything for version 1.1 so here goes.
Has anyone else had problems with Seleucid family members becoming invisible while they siege your cities? It's impossible to sally, and they just siege you until the settlement falls. It's happened to me twice now, in two different campaigns.
In the first campaign I was playing Baktria and the invisible Seleucid FM attacked my capital Baktria. He was standing right outside the Southwest corner of the city, where there is a little gap in the rivers. After some turns, I lost the city because I couldn't sally.
The second time it happened I had started a new Koinon Hellenon campaign. Some 5-10 years into the campaign, Halicarnassus rebelled to my side, and all of a sudden I was at war with Seleucids (with whom I had previously negotiated a peace). I installed a type 4 government in Halicarnassus to be able to build it up as quickly as possible. A few turns later, an invisible Seleucid stack was laying siege to Halicarnassus and there was nothing I could do. Lost the city after 3 or 4 turns when they couldn't hold out any longer. After the city is occupied, I see a Seleucid family member standing "on top" of the city on the campaign map, and later I find him normally inside. I should add here that while the invisible army was sieging, I tried reloading the game. That allowed me to that the siegers were standing on the Northeast side of Halicarnassus, but as I tried to sally, they became invisible again.
At this point i'm rather pissed off with the Seleucids so I've decided I'm going to leave the romans alone and instead kick Seleucid ass. The cheating bastards. :D
Anyway, is this a known bug and if so is there a fix for it? I read in the older threads that it might have to do with disasters killing family members who then turned into ghosts, or something? But I thought that was fixed by now?
