Hello Bovi and everybody,

here I want to report a strange Bug, which I noticed during my current Campaign with Pontos.
The Situation is as follows: 247 BC I'm on a punishment-expedition against the Arche Seleukeia, who killed my King a turn before. My plan is to conquer Tarsos, destroy everinthing there and give it to the Ptolemaians afterwards. So I lay siege on Tarsos, one Turn later I want attack and the Game crashes after clicking the assault-button. (3 Times)
Now I had a spy near Tarsos who took a look what happens inside town. This is, what the spy detected:

There's one Unit called Capitain Tirtano in town, and if you click on it, a whole iberian-looking army enfolds. (Probably, if you look at Tirtanos Bannner, kind of an spanish underground nazi organisation, which undermines the kingdom of the Arche Seleukeia)

But joke aside: Here is the safegame: http://www.axifile.com/?6703888

And a question: Is is possible somehow to remove or eradicate that Cpt. Tirtano via console? The game only crashes when I attack Tarsos, but I fear, Tirtano will cause more ctds in the future, if I leave him be, and I'm so eager to punish the Arche for the death of my brave king.

Greetings, QK

I tried your save. The Iberian garrison never showed up in my case, so I just went ahead and took Tarsos for you. Neat as I just took Tarsos in my 1.0 Pontos campaign. I did an occupy. Maybe should've done an enslavement. Public order's not that terrific (75% at normal taxes).

Anyways, here's a link.

Damn Turkish-Iberian Nazi's.

Weirdest bug -ever-.

I've only seen that happening twice before, and one of them wasn't even EB I think. I have no idea how to fix it, or even how to provoke it. Chalk it up for a random glitch and reload an older save, unless the one Korlon gave you works.

By the way, thank you for your many useful posts, Korlon. Much appreciated :2thumbsup:.

Hey Korlon, thanks for the quick and kindly help, though the savegame you made up didn't work for me. Nevertheless I found a solution now to get rid of those iberian undercover-nazis. I simply starved them out. The garrison didn't sally but gave up without a fight, so the game didn't crash and Tarsos fell into the hands of Kingdom of Pontos (just to be given back to the Ptolemaians to annoy the Arche an work as a puffer between the grey superpower and me. The diadochii wars, shall they never end!)
Bovi, I hope this adds to your collection of weird and interesting minor bugs. Thank you too and also Olaf the Great moral support in the iberian case.

Oh well, sad about the savegame not working. Try doing an installation validation as there must be some sort of difference between our versions. Good thing you got it going though.

And when I first saw your post, my first reaction was to stick three spies in it and hopefully make a revolt. Though I wonder if some other bug would happen if that Iberian stack went outside.

And thanks for making a thread that indirectly gave me a pontus save :)
