Expanded maps

OK, I probably should have posted this in the mods section, but due to lots of inactivity and unanswered questions, I figured this would be a more fitting place.

I've seen a couple of mods out there that have expanded the campaign map, but more or less just stepped up the scale or increased the density of regions already existing without adding anything really new.

My question is, are there any maps available to download out there that merely expand the borders of the map to include some of the more interesting areas that were omitted. (They left out Mecca! MECCA FOR ALLAH SAKE!) I know that the Rome Total Realism mod expanded the borders and M2:TW is essentially the same engine so I would assume it's possible to make additions, but I found them strangely lacking when doing searches.

So, can anybody point me in the right direction?

The Broken Crescnt mod completely shifts the center of the map to around Baghdad, and extends south all the way to the Horn of Africa and east to a good chunk of India.

It really moves the map more than extends it, though, since most of Europe is absent.

I believe the Long Road mod expands the map into an impressively huge area... but the biggest complaint about that one is how it takes FOREVER to build your empire.

I think there's a Big Map mod, but I never got around to playing it. I can't give a review of that one.

There is Spurius' BigMap of which he made about teice the size of vanilla and added about 30 regions. Regions and Provinces Mod is based ont the BigMap with the regions maxxed out. Das Heilige Romische Reich is based on Regions and Provinces 2.3 and is being ported to Kingdoms. All these are available at the TWC.
